Black Dog has assisted many clients with their showroom space at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, as well as their individual showrooms across the Country. We can manage construction updates, logistics, show services, openings and client parties.

Your event will always be special with Black Dog! Our extensive and diverse portfolio includes many unique projects such as corporate sales meetings, X-Games Motorcross shows, Off-Road shows, themed celebrations, black-tie evenings, community events, religious festivals, and charity fundraisers.
Kelly Jansens, founder of Black Dog Productions
Kelly Jansens founded Black Dog Productions in 2008. She has over 20 years of experience in project management focusing on trade shows, showrooms, and special events. She has also held positions in exhibit houses and corporations in West Michigan.
Kelly specializes in turn-key services for client projects, covering budgeting, planning, marketing, securing vendor services, coordinating design, fabrication, build-out, I&D, catering and logistics. No project is too big, no customer too small.
Kelly loves travel, fashion, fitness, and surfing, and participates in the arts and music. She has a huge heart for animals and supports local animal shelters with events and fundraising efforts. Recent efforts for The Humane Society of West Michigan include C-Snip, Bissell Block Tail, LaughFest People & Pets and Gilda's Club - World Largest Dog Wash.
Black Dog Productions was named after her rescue dog, a Black Labrador Retriever named, "Bodie."
Bodie - "Black Dog Productions" Name Sake
Bodie was adopted from an animal control center in West Michigan. Kelly was told he was picked up on the run and brought to the control center. They simply did not have room for him...he would be discarded.
Bodie became the center of Kelly's universe for close to 10 years. He lived a wonderful life and was loved deeply. Sadly, in 2017 Kelly had to say goodbye to Bodie. Black Dog Productions lives on in honor of the best dog ever!
